| Website Changes | |
| June 28, 2010 | |
A new security feature has been implemented for use on our order form. When using our form, you should now notice the padlock symbol next to the web address for Internet Explorer users, and in the bottom right corner of the screen for Firefox users. This padlock indicates that you are using the secure orderform. Also, the website address now begins with "https" instead of "http". If you have bookmarked our orderform, it will still work, however, should not be used. You should delete that bookmark and replace it with the new one. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to give us a call. |
| Policy Changes | |
| May 25, 2010 | |
At a recent meeting, our company policy was changed in regards to returning customer's reports and recording customer's documents. When you receive your completed request from us, your original request should be attached. Hopefully, this will assist in getting our work to the right person the first time. When sending documents to be recorded at the courthouses, if your document is missing vital information required for recording or your check for recording fees is not correct, we will no longer be able to record your document. However, in order to prevent long delays in recording your document, we will immediately notify you of the errors and seek a solution to record your document that same day. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to give us a call. |

| Jefferson Delays | |
| December 2, 2009 | |
On November 16, 2009, Jefferson County Register's and Recorder's Office moved back into the courthouse on Main St. Although the remodeling is nearly complete, not everything is up and running as planned. We ask that you please be patient and allow for an extra day or two for us to get back your searches to you. We are doing everything we can to get them done as quickly as possible but with the lack of computers and record/deed books available to the public, it is becoming difficult to return your searches to you in our normal time frame. Thank you. |
